DCWC in cooperation many state and federal agencies is involved in keeping tabs on the pristine conditions that make Deer Creek special. The purpose of this page is to bring all this information together and keep it updated as much as possible.
In Stream Conditions:
Department of water resources operates two temp/flow guages in Deer Creek. (click guage name to go to flow data)
DCV
is located near the canyon mouth. DVD is located above HWY 99.
Fisheries and Habitat: Fisheries monitoring is currently performed as a cooperative effort by local state and federal agencies and volunteers (thats us!). Below is a table of Spring and Fall run Chinook*. Check back soon for udated 2010 Fall Run data.
